About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join ZoomInfo, where you'll explore and work with cutting-edge technologies and a large data set. This role involves tackling tough problems, from building systems that handle millions of customer requests to making sense of billions of correlated data pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop and maintain high-quality services, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- →Collaborate with team members to contribute to the design and evolution of services architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance
- →Create robust RESTful APIs and integrate with external services, ensuring data consistency and security
- →Work with various database systems, including SQL and NoSQL, to design efficient data models and access patterns
- →Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing code and infrastructure
- →Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews
- →Investigate and resolve production issues, providing timely solutions
- →Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to backend development and cloud technologies
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- ✓5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with a strong focus on services development
- ✓Proficiency in services development frameworks and technologies
- ✓Experience with Node.js
- ✓Solid understanding of services architecture principles and best practices
- ✓Proficiency in RESTful API design and development
- ✓Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling
- ✓Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
- ✓Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- ✓Experience with public cloud platform
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
