About the Role
The Mission Planner team at Zoox is responsible for creating high-level routes for autonomous vehicles. This role involves working closely with Cloud Services and other teams to enable dynamic planning and real-time route adaptation for our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop mission planner algorithms, including graph search and integration with behavioral planning
- →Integrate and test applications in the robot, learning and making improvements
- →Collaborate with team members to support integration of software components
- →Set technical direction for the team and collaborate on company-wide directions
- →Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other teams
Requirements
- ✓BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Programming skills in C++
- ✓Understanding and experience with graph search techniques (A*, D*, Dijkstra)
- ✓Demonstrated ability to write code for a shipped product
- ✓Ability to work on multiple layers of the autonomous driving compute stack
- ✓At least 2 years of industry experience
