About the Role
We are looking for our first Director of Performance Marketing to join Zopa Bank, a rapidly growing bank that has reached 1.8 million customers since its launch in 2020. This leadership role will play a critical part in attracting new current account customers profitably and sustainably, reporting to the Chief Customer Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- →Set the performance growth strategy and long-term vision for profitable new-to-bank growth
- →Develop clear alignment between Performance Marketing and Product on underlying unit economics
- →Partner closely with Marketing teams to ensure performance activity is powered by strong messaging and creative
- →Collaborate with Lifetime Value and Customer Analytics teams to ensure proper measurement and tracking
- →Define the right operating model for performance marketing and lead high-performing in-house talent
- →Manage agency partners for fast, high-quality delivery across key performance channels
- →Embed a relentless test-and-learn mindset to continuously spot new opportunities
Requirements
- ✓Strong track record of scaling customer acquisition through performance marketing, ideally in fintech or digital businesses
- ✓Deep experience across major performance channels with understanding of incrementality and value
- ✓Experience managing large budgets, agencies, and senior stakeholders
- ✓Commercially sharp with focus on profitable growth and lifetime value
- ✓Data-driven but creatively minded, able to balance rigour with experimentation
- ✓Collaborative and influential leadership style with high standards
