The RoleÂ
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of how customers interact with their digital bank through Zopa’s native mobile apps.Â
This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role at a pivotal moment for Zopa. Following the launch of our Current Account last year, we’re rebuilding our app around all of our customers’ financial needs — from everyday spending, to building wealth, to borrowing for life’s big moments.Â
We’re about to launch a brand-new native app experience, and you’ll play a key role in defining what comes next. From unlocking platform-level capabilities and OS-native features, to shaping the systems and patterns that allow our products to scale with speed and consistency.Â
You’ll sit at the intersection of customer experience, platform thinking, and commercial impact, owning how our app drives engagement, product adoption, and long-term customer lifetime value. You’ll work closely with design, engineering, data, and product peers across the bank to deliver a cohesive, next-generation banking experience. We call this the Home of Money.Â
This role is for someone curious, data-driven, and ambitious about building durable product foundations that unlock faster delivery and better outcomes across the business.Â
What You’ll Do
• Own and evolve core native app capabilities that shape how customers experience Zopa across all products.
• Lead the development of platform-level features such as design systems, shared components, and experience patterns that enable consistency and reduce time to market.
• Leverage OS-native capabilities across iOS and Android to deliver meaningful customer value and differentiated experiences.
• Partner closely with design and engineering to build intuitive, scalable solutions that balance craft, speed, and impact.
• Take a commercially minded approach to product decisions, ensuring the app effectively supports cross-sell, engagement, and sustainable customer lifetime value.
• Experiment with new ways to manage and optimise the customer lifecycle, driving deeper relationships and more products per customer.
• Use data rigorously, defining success metrics, running experiments, and turning insight into action.
• Collaborate extensively with other Product Managers to ensure all changes contribute to one cohesive, end-to-end banking experience.
• Act as a strong product leader within the native app space, raising the bar for product thinking, experience design, and customer focus.
About You
• A self-starting, driven individual with 5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager working on mobile apps, ideally in fintech, digital banking, or other high-scale consumer products.
• Proven, demonstrable impact on customer outcomes, either through building zero-to-one product features or iterating on existing products.
• A strong product and technical mindset, with experience building not just features but platforms, systems, or foundations that enable teams to move faster.
• Comfortable working closely with iOS and Android teams, with an understanding of the strengths and constraints of each platform.
• Naturally curious and deeply data-driven, using insight and experimentation to guide decisions.
• Able to balance commercial goals and customer value, thinking in terms of engagement, lifetime value, and sustainable growth.
• Experienced in cross-team collaboration, influencing and aligning multiple product areas around a shared vision.
• A clear, compelling communicator who can articulate product strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Thrives in fast-moving, iterative environments where products evolve continuously and ambiguity is part of the job.
At Zopa we value flexible ways of working.
