About the Role We are looking for a Senior Agentic AI Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and deploying AI applications with a focus on agentic AI and RAG pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement AI applications using Python and SQL • Develop and deploy LLM-enabled applications • Work with tool/function calling, structured responses, and retrieval-grounded generation (RAG) • Build and deploy cloud-hosted applications on Azure • Collaborate with stakeholders and work independently in a cross-functional team Requirements • 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Python and SQL development skills • Demonstrated delivery of an LLM-enabled application beyond a basic chatbot or demo • Experience with tool/function calling, structured responses, retrieval-grounded generation (RAG), and AI evaluation • Strong backend/API engineering skills (validation, authentication, authorization, error handling, automated testing) • Hands-on experience working effectively within Databricks or a comparable enterprise data platform • Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, audit trails, and transactional integrity • Experience building and deploying cloud-hosted applications, preferably on Azure • Proficiency with Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and reproducible deployment practices • Ability to diagnose issues across application, data, integration, and infrastructure boundaries • Strong stakeholder communication skills
