About the Role We are seeking an AI Data Agent Engineer to design, build, and optimize conversational analytics solutions using Databricks Genie Agents and Microsoft Fabric Data Agents. The role focuses on delivering accurate business insights for healthcare stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Build, configure, and optimize Databricks Genie Agents using Unity Catalog, Metric Views, and Verified Answers • Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric Data Agents utilizing Power BI Semantic Models, Lakehouses, and Warehouses • Design and implement Fabric IQ Ontologies, including entities, relationships, metrics, and data bindings • Develop and optimize complex SQL and DAX queries to support enterprise analytics • Analyze and troubleshoot agent responses by reviewing generated SQL/DAX queries and execution workflows • Create evaluation datasets and benchmarking frameworks to test agent performance and accuracy • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, and traceability standards • Collaborate with business users, data engineers, BI developers, and AI teams to deliver production-ready solutions • Support continuous improvement of AI-powered analytics capabilities Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, or AI Engineering • Hands-on experience with Databricks Genie Agents • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Agents • Strong experience in Fabric IQ Ontology and semantic modeling • Expertise in SQL and DAX • Experience with Unity Catalog, Metric Views, Power BI Semantic Models, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses & Warehouses • Experience testing, debugging, and tuning AI agents • Understanding of enterprise data governance, security, and compliance • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
