𝐖𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Senior AI Data Platform Engineer @ Adobe (On-site) Adobe is powering the future of AI-driven creativity through its Express Data Platform — a billion-event-per-day system enabling real-time personalization, analytics, and autonomous AI workflows. This team is building a streaming-first, self-healing, agent-ready lakehouse to support next-gen AI systems at scale. 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: Type: Full-Time Level: Manager Location: On-site Salary: $208,300 – $301,600 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Design and build streaming-first data pipelines to reduce latency from hours to real-time. Develop and scale ML Attribute Store with low-latency feature serving. Build MCP-compatible Agent Data APIs for AI agents to query and reason over data. Create agentic automation systems (self-healing pipelines, anomaly detection, RCA). Ensure platform reliability via observability, performance tuning, and incident automation. Collaborate across data science, product, and engineering teams to enable self-serve infrastructure. Leverage AI-powered dev tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to boost engineering velocity. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 6+ years in data platforms, distributed systems, or backend infrastructure. Strong experience with Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, Kafka, or similar. Proficiency in Python/Scala and SQL; cloud experience (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker). Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic systems, and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, etc.). Familiarity with feature stores, RAG architectures, vector DBs, and data catalogs. Strong systems thinking, ownership mindset, and bias for fast execution.
