About the Role Isoft-services is seeking an AI Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered commerce experiences through modern APIs, AI agents, large language models, and emerging agent interoperability standards. Key Responsibilities • Build AI-powered commerce experiences through modern APIs • Develop AI agents and agentic workflows • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Implement OAuth2 and OpenID Connect • Apply Zero Trust security principles • Build microservices in cloud-native environments • Deploy applications in Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform • Work with Kubernetes-based environments • Leverage AI-assisted development tools Requirements • 5+ years of software engineering experience building APIs and distributed systems • Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs • Hands-on experience with Golang and Python • Strong understanding of OpenAPI specifications and API-first development practices • Experience implementing OAuth2 and OpenID Connect • Experience with Zero Trust security principles and modern authorization models • Experience building microservices in cloud-native environments • Experience deploying applications in Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform • Experience working with Kubernetes-based environments • Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and API lifecycle management • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
