About the Role We are seeking an AI Engineer - RAG Platform to join our client's team in Utrecht, Netherlands. This role focuses on improving the quality and effectiveness of their internal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform. Key Responsibilities • Continuously improve the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of the RAG platform • Work at the intersection of Information Retrieval, Data Science, and Software Engineering • Define and monitor quality metrics to ensure measurable model improvements • Drive continuous RAG model improvement • Join a multidisciplinary team combining engineering, product, and AI expertise Requirements • Master's degree or equivalent academic level in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field • At least 3 years of relevant experience in machine learning, applied AI, or data science • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), Python, Databricks, and evaluation frameworks for GenAI systems • Knowledge of embedding models, prompt optimization, data pipelines, workflow automation, CI/CD practices, and Azure Benefits • Hybrid work policy allowing work from anywhere
