About the Role We are looking for an AI Technical Lead to join our team. This role focuses on designing and building an AI-Enhanced Software Engineering Platform to accelerate software development. Key Responsibilities • Design and build AI-Enhanced Software Engineering Platform to accelerate software development • Assess current implementation, define target architecture, transition roadmap, and appropriately scoped MVPs • Prepare architecture, detailed design, security, data-flow, integration, deployment, and operational-support documentation • Present designs and obtain alignment from Information Security, Architecture Review Board, AI Centre of Excellence, Cloud Engineering, Privacy, Risk, and other stakeholders • Design and implement modular platform capabilities for governed LLM access, context engineering, enterprise knowledge retrieval, workflow orchestration, security, evaluation, governance, and observability • Develop and productionize prioritized engineering productivity use cases, initially integrating with GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps repositories, work items, pipelines, service hooks, and enterprise knowledge sources • Design tool-agnostic interfaces supporting the planned transition to GitLab for repositories, CI/CD and security scanning, and Jira and Confluence for requirements and project documentation • Pair with internal engineers to create reference implementations, standards, architecture decisions, runbooks, and knowledge transfer
