About the Role We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, building, operating, and optimizing enterprise AI/ML platforms with a focus on MLOps, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and production ML systems. Key Responsibilities • Build and continuously improve shared enterprise AI/ML platforms • Automate infrastructure provisioning and ML deployment workflows • Improve platform reliability, scalability, observability, and cost efficiency • Support production model releases, monitoring, and incident resolution • Develop reusable developer tools and standardized deployment processes Requirements • 10+ years in Platform Engineering, MLOps, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering • 2+ years working with production ML systems • Strong Python and production-grade software development • Experience with ML CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and model deployment • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP for cloud infrastructure management and cost optimization • Advanced Kubernetes skills including cluster management, autoscaling, resource quotas, and workload scheduling • Monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent • Production-scale Terraform and Ansible • Knowledge of ML lifecycle including experiment tracking, model registries, feature stores, model serving, and drift monitoring • Experience with automated model validation, testing, A/B testing, canary deployments, and rollback • Development of internal SDKs, CLI tools, reusable templates, APIs, and standardized deployment workflows • Incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation Important Requirements • Local candidates only — must be able to work onsite in Linthicum Heights, MD.
