About the Role We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Android development, Kotlin/Java, modern Android frameworks, and a good understanding of mobile UI/UX and application architecture. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop robust, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications. • Build new features and enhance existing application functionality. • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using Kotlin and/or Java. • Work with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android development practices. • Implement responsive user interfaces based on product and design requirements. • Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and backend systems. • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance problems. • Write unit and UI tests to ensure application quality and reliability. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams. • Monitor application performance and improve stability, security, and scalability. • Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies and development best practices. • Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store when required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Strong experience with Android SDK and Android Studio. • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. • Good understanding of Android Jetpack, including ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager. • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP. • Understanding of Android application architecture such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns. • Knowledge of Git and version-control workflows. • Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization. • Good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles. • Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing.
