About the Role We are looking for an API Tech Lead to join IBM's team in Boston. This role requires extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities • Lead API development and architecture • Manage microservices and API infrastructure • Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices • Oversee technical teams and mentor junior developers Requirements • 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering • 4–5+ years in Technical Leadership • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud • Experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker • Knowledge of Microservices and API Architecture • Familiarity with Apigee API Proxies and Apache Kafka • Proficiency in AWS Lambda, CI/CD, and GitOps • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and SQL/NoSQL Databases
