About the Role
We are looking for an Application Architect with deep expertise in AI agentic architecture, enterprise integration, and architecture standards. This hands-on role designs agent-based and AI-enabled solutions, defines integration patterns, publishes application architecture standards, and helps establish an Architecture Center of Excellence (COE).
Key Responsibilities
• Design reference architectures for agentic AI: multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Define secure patterns for integrating agents with enterprise systems and APIs (e.g., MCP, event-driven triggers).
• Establish guardrails for agent identity, access, auditability, observability, evaluation, and cost.
• Design and govern API-led, event-driven, and messaging integration patterns, including API lifecycle and gateway strategy.
• Define integration patterns for legacy, SaaS, and cloud-native systems.
• Develop, publish, and maintain application, integration, API, and AI architecture standards and reference architectures.
• Help establish and operate the COE: charter, governance forums, design reviews, training, and playbooks.
• Guide application modernization and cloud design on Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Align designs with NIST (incl. AI RMF), CIS, ISO 27001, and MTA security requirements.
• Partner with product, engineering, DevOps, and Cybersecurity teams; communicate clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
• 10+ years of application/enterprise architecture experience, including cloud-native design on Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience delivering AI/LLM or agentic solutions in an enterprise.
• Experience authoring standards and operating an architecture COE or review board.
• Strong integration/API expertise and executive-level communication.
• Cloud certification and additional relevant certification preferred.
