About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with hands-on Apptio experience to support quality engineering across Apptio-based applications, integrations, and business workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Apptio applications and workflows. • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing. • Validate data flows between Apptio and upstream/downstream systems. • Perform backend testing and data validation using SQL. • Test REST APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to define test coverage. • Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and quality reporting. Requirements • 5+ years of QA and software testing experience • Hands-on experience testing Apptio implementations or applications • Strong understanding of Apptio data, reporting, workflows, and integrations • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks • Strong API testing experience • Good SQL and backend data-validation skills • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps • Understanding of Agile/Scrum and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
