About the Role We are seeking an Assistant IT Director to join the South Carolina State Treasurer’s Office and help drive IT operations, security, service delivery, and vendor performance. Key Responsibilities • Drive IT operations, security, service delivery, and vendor performance • Manage MSPs, vendors, SLAs, and IT service delivery • Oversee cybersecurity operations, incident response, and risk management Requirements • 6+ years of progressive IT experience • 3+ years of IT supervisory experience • Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, incident response, and risk management • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune • Bachelor’s degree in a related field Preferred • State government or financial services experience • SAP integrations • IT procurement • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, ITIL, or PMP
