About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Architect with 15+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end automation across web, API, and enterprise applications • Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Java & Playwright • Define automation strategy, roadmap, test approach, and quality standards • Lead and mentor onsite/offshore automation engineers • Conduct code reviews and establish automation best practices • Integrate automated suites with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms • Drive Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and E2E automation • Own test execution, defect triage, RCA, and release quality reporting • Build automation dashboards and metrics for leadership • Support estimation, sprint planning, resource planning, and risk management • Continuously improve automation coverage, execution time, and framework maintainability Requirements • 15+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation • Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java • Experience with Playwright Automation • Experience with automation framework development • Knowledge of CI/CD practices • Experience with API testing • Technical leadership abilities Candidates should have hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, developing reusable libraries/utilities, implementing Playwright solutions, creating API automation suites, managing test data/environments, troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, and generating reports using Extent Reports, Allure, or equivalent.
