About the Role We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join Caterpillar’s AWS Platform organization and help build, automate, and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Build, automate, and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure • Manage AWS infrastructure in a multi-account environment • Implement AWS services including EKS, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, Glue, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, and DynamoDB • Configure AWS networking and security using VPC, ALB/NLB, IAM, KMS, SCPs, and permission boundaries • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation • Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions • Script with Python and/or Bash • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and customer-facing communication Requirements • Bachelor’s degree • 5–7 years of relevant experience • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification required • Must be willing to work onsite and relocate if needed
