About the Role We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement AWS solutions using VPC, EC2, IAM, ALB, EKS/ECS, and Transit Gateway • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK • Develop Python, Bash, or Go scripts for automation and monitoring • Monitor systems using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk • Manage production incidents and perform root cause analysis • Utilize ServiceNow, Jira, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie for incident management Requirements • 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with 4+ years specifically in AWS • Strong knowledge of AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, ALB, EKS/ECS, and Transit Gateway • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting • 2+ years of production incident management and RCA experience • Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk • Familiarity with incident management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Note: Must be comfortable working onsite 3 days/week in Naperville, IL.
