About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevSecOps Engineer to join a banking client for a long-term contract. This role focuses on improving CI/CD reliability, implementing GitOps practices, and developing self-service platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Improve CI/CD reliability, deployment velocity, and automation • Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure templates • Implement and standardize GitOps practices using ArgoCD • Develop self-service platform capabilities and deployment blueprints • Troubleshoot Kubernetes and EKS networking issues • Improve platform observability, monitoring, and operational excellence • Reduce operational overhead through Python-based automation • Collaborate with Platform, Security, Architecture, and Application teams • Proactively identify platform gaps and implement scalable solutions Requirements • Strong Python development and automation experience • Deep expertise in Kubernetes and Amazon EKS • Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation • Strong experience with ArgoCD and GitOps • Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development • AWS networking: VPC, Route Tables, Security Groups, Load Balancers, DNS, and IAM • Containerization and container orchestration • DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, and cloud infrastructure
