About the Role We are looking for an AWS Engineer to join our client's team for a contract position. This role involves working with Python-based AWS Glue ETL pipelines and Node.js Lambda microservices. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Python-based AWS Glue ETL pipelines • Develop Node.js Lambda microservices • Design and operate microservices architectures • Utilize AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions • Implement infrastructure as code using AWS SAM and CloudFormation • Work with Oracle SQL, DynamoDB, and S3 • Ensure strong testing discipline and CI/CD experience Requirements • Strong proficiency in Python (3.12+) and Node.js (current LTS) • Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions • Knowledge of AWS SAM, CloudFormation, and Oracle SQL • Familiarity with DynamoDB, S3, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins • Experience with financial/transactional data and operational dashboards
