About the Role We are seeking an Azure Application Development Lead to lead the design, development, support, modernization, and delivery of enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure. This role combines hands-on engineering, architecture ownership, team leadership, and collaboration with customer stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Lead a development team through requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support • Design and develop applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET, REST APIs, and Azure services • Define application architecture, service boundaries, integration patterns, and technical standards • Lead application modernization, including migration of existing applications to Azure • Select appropriate Azure services, balancing functionality, security, and availability • Implement application observability using Application Insights and Azure Monitor • Ensure strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, secure coding, and code quality practices • Proven experience leading developers and owning technical delivery • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer stakeholder management skills Requirements • 8–12 years of experience in application development and support • 4+ years of experience on Microsoft Azure • 2+ years of experience in technical leadership • Strong expertise in .NET, cloud-native development, APIs, and Azure services • Experience with React or Angular for full-stack application development • Experience with Docker, Azure Container Apps, or Azure Kubernetes Service • Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB and caching solutions • Experience integrating applications with SAP, CRM, ERP, or other enterprise platforms • Exposure to Azure Logic Apps and enterprise workflow automation • Experience implementing AI-enabled application features using Azure AI services • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications • Experience in consulting or a system integrator environment
