About the Role We are seeking a Senior Programmer specializing in Azure Cloud and API Integration for a 12-month contract position with extension options. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical applications and systems architectures. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of mission-critical applications and systems architectures. • Architect and scale enterprise integration pipelines leveraging Azure PaaS components. • Build, maintain, and optimize robust RESTful APIs using OAuth 2.0 authentication frameworks. • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate system requirements into high-performance software solutions. • Maintain rigorous software engineering standards across automated CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and security/compliance policies. Key Requirements • 7+ years of experience in EDP systems study, design, and programming, with at least 4 years in a lead technical role. • 5+ years of application engineering, including 2+ years of production experience in Azure Integration Services (Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Logic Apps). • Proficiency in C# / .NET, Azure SQL / SQL Server, REST API architecture, and Git-based CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering, or equivalent qualifying work experience. • Microsoft Certified (Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer). Security & Clearance: LiveScan fingerprinting and background checks required post-selection.
