About the Role We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our team in Washington, DC. This role involves designing and building Microsoft Azure solutions, with a focus on enterprise Azure Landing Zones and infrastructure migration. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement enterprise Azure Landing Zones • Lead on-premises VMware workload migrations to Azure • Develop and maintain Terraform reusable modules and remote state management • Create and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines • Implement Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, and governance • Configure Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity Governance • Design Hub-and-Spoke Networking and hybrid connectivity solutions • Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, CJIS, or FedRAMP standards Requirements • 11+ years of overall infrastructure/cloud experience • 5+ years designing and building Microsoft Azure solutions • Strong experience with Terraform, reusable modules, and remote state management • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines or GitHub Actions • Expertise in Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, and governance • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity Governance • Proven experience leading on-premises VMware workload migrations to Azure • Experience with AWS workloads (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3) • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to provide detailed technical documentation and complete the required skills matrix
