Azure Cloud Engineer

Azure Cloud Engineer 📍 London, UK Fortegra is hiring an experienced Cloud Engineer to support and optimize our Azure environment while delivering advanced L2–L3 IT support across our global shared-services model (US, UK, CEE). Key Responsibilities: - Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure resources (VMs, VNet, NSG, Storage, Azure SQL) - Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment - Oversee user access and security in Microsoft Entra ID and Office 365 - Monitor cloud performance, costs, and compliance (SOX, NIST, DORA) - Lead ticket escalations and mentor junior IT team members - Support on-prem networking (DHCP, IP troubleshooting) What We’re Looking For: - Strong hands-on Azure administration experience - Experience managing Entra ID, O365, RBAC, MFA - Knowledge of Azure networking, security, and governance - Scripting experience (PowerShell or Python) preferred - Azure certifications a plus What We Offer: ✔ Competitive salary + comprehensive benefits ✔ Professional development and certification support ✔ Exposure to global IT initiatives and modern cloud technologies Interested?
