About the Role We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team at PlatformX Solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure for international projects. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory • Work with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark • Utilize SQL and Python for data processing • Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 • Model data and work with Data Warehousing and Data Lake architectures • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git Requirements • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and ETL/ELT development • Experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python • Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 • Experience in data modeling, Data Warehousing, and Data Lake architectures • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD Benefits • Remote work from LATAM • Competitive salary in USD • 3 weeks of PTO • Computer and equipment provided • Referral bonus • International projects and professional growth opportunities
