About the Role We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and modern cloud-based data architectures. The candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Databricks, enterprise data architecture, cloud modernization, and data engineering. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement secure, scalable, and modern cloud-based data architectures • Lead technical architecture discussions and guide data engineering teams • Design end-to-end data platforms and migrate legacy systems to Azure • Ensure cloud security, data governance, and compliance with federal standards • Build scalable data architectures and design ETL/ELT pipelines Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Azure Data Architecture and Cloud Modernization • 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience • 3+ years of Azure Databricks architecture experience • Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) • Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions • Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services, including Azure SQL, Event Hub, and Azure Functions • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and data governance • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, federal security controls, and compliance requirements
