About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Azure Identity & MIM Modernization Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of an enterprise identity modernization program. The candidate will be responsible for modernizing the existing Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environment and transitioning to a cloud-based identity platform built on Microsoft Entra ID and Azure services. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, governance, and implementation of an enterprise identity modernization program • Modernize the existing Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environment • Transition to a cloud-based identity platform built on Microsoft Entra ID and Azure services • Oversee identity lifecycle management, enterprise integrations, security governance, and automated provisioning across multiple enterprise systems Requirements • 9+ years of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture experience • 6+ years of Microsoft Azure architecture experience • 5+ years of Microsoft Entra ID and Identity Governance experience • Hands-on experience with MIM/FIM modernization or replacement projects, preferably leading at least two large-scale projects • Strong practical experience in PowerShell scripting and identity automation • Experience designing cloud-native identity solutions using Azure services • Experience integrating identity platforms with enterprise HR, ERP, and Student Information Systems • Strong understanding of identity security, governance, access management, and hybrid directory services • Excellent technical communication, stakeholder management, and architectural decision-making skills
