About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Senior Azure and Office 365 Engineer for a high-impact, enterprise-scale engagement based in New York, NY. This role focuses on advanced Exchange Online architecture, Entra ID identity governance, and M365 security compliance. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement advanced Exchange Online configurations • Manage identity governance using Microsoft Entra ID • Implement security and governance policies using Microsoft Purview • Troubleshoot complex email routing and hybrid identity synchronization • Lead critical cloud initiatives and drive enterprise architecture decisions Requirements • Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, Identity Protection, and SSO/Federation integration • Experience with Exchange Online Mastery including hybrid configurations, mail flow optimization, transport rules, message tracing, and PowerShell automation • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention policies, eDiscovery, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 • Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, PKI lifecycle management, and foundational Azure IaaS (VMs, storage, networking) • AWS familiarity Preferred Qualifications • Certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300, or AZ-305 • Strong background in troubleshooting complex email routing (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and hybrid identity synchronization
