About the Role We are looking for an experienced Backend C#/.NET Engineer to replace a business-critical Excel/VBA-based spares booking tool with a robust, maintainable application integrated with existing stock and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities • Replace Excel/VBA-based spares booking tool with a robust application • Integrate with existing stock and ERP systems • Translate business rules from Excel formulas and VBA code into application logic Requirements • Strong commercial experience in C#/.NET desktop application development • Excellent SQL skills, including transactional database operations • Experience integrating with ERP or other transactional business systems • Ability to understand Excel formulas and VBA code and translate business rules into application logic • Experience with Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) • Hands-on experience configuring and using AI coding tools or agents • Strong debugging, testing, data validation, and code review skills • Understanding of concurrent operations, failed transactions, and duplicate submissions We’re looking for someone who can take ownership from requirements clarification to development, testing, and handover, while ensuring AI-generated code is thoroughly verified and data integrity is maintained.
