About the Role We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team in Stockholm. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing a large application landscape supporting critical business operations. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and improve backend applications and services • Design and manage APIs, integrations, and database logic • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability • Improve automation, deployment processes, and code quality • Explore opportunities to integrate AI into applications and workflows • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and contribute innovative ideas Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Python and PHP • Proven experience in backend development within production environments • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, APIs, and system integrations • Knowledge of secure coding practices and modern development methods • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Unix/Linux environments • Ability to work independently and take ownership from development to deployment • Proficiency in Swedish & English Nice to Have • JavaScript, Node.js, or Vue.js experience • Experience with local or on-premises AI models • Experience integrating AI into applications, workflows, or automation solutions
