About the Role We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to build services, integrate platforms like Databricks, SAP, and Splunk, and architect next-generation API/MCP interfaces for AI agent workflows. Key Responsibilities • Architect and scale backend microservices and REST APIs using Python (FastAPI / Flask). • Integrate core engineering applications with enterprise platforms like SAP, Databricks, and Splunk. • Optimize PostgreSQL data schemas, queries, and ETL/data-movement automation. • Design interfaces (including Model Context Protocol / MCP) enabling agentic and AI-driven workflows. • Enforce robust authentication, authorization (RBAC), and CI/CD best practices in Linux environments. Requirements • Proven expertise in Python and distributed backend application design. • Strong background with PostgreSQL / SQL, data integration, and RESTful architectures. • Hands-on experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js. • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or Databricks is a strong plus.
