About the Role
We are seeking experienced Systems & C++ Platform Engineers to drive the modernization, scalability, and operational automation of our large-scale distributed infrastructure platform (SUP Alloc). This role bridges high-performance systems programming and production platform engineering.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect, build, and optimize high-throughput, multi-tenant C++ backend services within a large-scale distributed environment
• Design and implement automation frameworks for allocation deployments, onboarding, and workflow configuration generation
• Partner with release pipelines to establish automated validation, canary deployments, promotion policies, and instant rollback mechanisms
• Tune multithreading, concurrency, latency, and memory consumption; define SLOs, telemetry, alerting, and automated incident recovery runbooks
• Partner with platform, SRE, compliance, and infrastructure teams to accelerate productionization and infrastructure turn-ups
Requirements
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with core expertise in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17+)
• Deep background in large-scale distributed systems, Linux internals, and systems-level programming
• Strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization primitives, and memory profiling
• Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release engineering tooling
• Proven track record in production observability (telemetry, metrics, distributed logging, SLO/SLA management, root-cause analysis)
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Points For
• Hands-on familiarity with Google-scale infrastructure toolchains (gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Piper, Blaze, Boq, Rapid, Spanner)
• Prior background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Engineering, or DevOps
• Experience operating within regulated, compliance-driven, or high-security production environments
