About the Role We are looking for an experienced Chatbot Content Developer to modernize technical documentation and optimize knowledge sources used by AI-powered chatbots. This role requires strong scripting and automation skills, hands-on experience with Confluence and Git-based repositories, and a passion for documentation-as-code practices. Key Responsibilities • Review, analyze, and optimize technical documentation for AI chatbot knowledge sources • Convert Confluence content into Markdown and documentation-as-code formats • Develop Python or Java automation scripts for content conversion, transformation, and migration • Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve documentation quality and structure • Maintain and manage documentation in GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar repositories • Troubleshoot formatting issues involving links, images, metadata, and page structures • Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve documentation quality and accessibility • Establish documentation standards, templates, and best practices Requirements • 6–8 years of relevant professional experience • Strong scripting and automation experience using Python (preferred) or Java • Hands-on experience with Confluence administration, content organization, and migration • Strong knowledge of Markdown and documentation-as-code practices • Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar source control platforms • Experience developing automation scripts and content transformation utilities • Hands-on exposure to GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools • Strong written communication and technical documentation skills Good to Have • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Exposure to Backstage, TechDocs, or other developer documentation portals • Experience with GitHub Enterprise
