About the Role We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a long-term contract position with a direct client. This role requires extensive experience in cloud-native application development and deployment. Key Responsibilities • Design and build cloud-native applications and microservices • Deploy and host applications in containers and Kubernetes • Implement and maintain REST APIs • Utilize Agile practices and Azure DevOps for software delivery • Ensure application resiliency, scalability, and failover capabilities Requirements • 10+ years of development experience with Java, Springboot, SQL, and NoSQL databases • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and development patterns • 3+ years of experience designing and building cloud-native applications • Experience with Azure or AWS • Strong experience with containers and Kubernetes • Experience with Single Page Applications using React • Strong experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools • Experience with unit testing and test automation tools • Knowledge of the financial services industry Benefits
