About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team at Resource Corner IT. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying Azure workloads within a DevOps-driven environment, with a focus on investment, wealth, and superannuation domains. Key Responsibilities • Demonstrate strong experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) practices, including CI/CD deployment pipelines • Work extensively with YAML and JSON scripts for pipeline configuration and automation • Develop and enforce engineering standards, reusable patterns, DevOps policies, and cloud best practices • Define standardized approaches for infrastructure and application delivery • Design, build, deploy, and configure Azure workloads • Create solution architectures, detailed design documents, and functional specifications • Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions • Work extensively with APIs, Azure API Management (APIM), and Azure Key Vault • Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including identity concepts, RBAC, and authentication/authorization mechanisms • Identify, design, and implement identity and access management solutions • Participate hands-on in development activities to address complex requirements • Review and validate technical designs to ensure alignment with functional, security, resilience, reusability, and operational requirements • Collaborate with architects, delivery squads, BAU teams, principal engineers, and project managers • Design and implement automation solutions using DevOps practices • Contribute to the organization’s central knowledge repository by documenting architectures, design models, and reusable patterns • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure cloud solutions comply with target architecture, organizational standards, and industry best practices • Work closely with technology and operations teams to support platform reliability, resilience, and operational excellence Requirements • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering • Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) practices • Expertise in API Management (APIM) and Azure Key Vaults • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using YAML and JSON • Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), SCIM, and SAML • Experience with Source Code Management (SCM) • Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and identity management • Experience with infrastructure and application delivery • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
