About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud platforms and DevOps practices to design, build, deploy, and manage secure, scalable Azure workloads in an enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities • Implement and manage Azure DevOps practices and CI/CD deployment pipelines • Develop YAML and JSON scripts for pipeline configuration and automation • Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, DevOps policies, and cloud best practices • Design, build, deploy, and configure Azure workloads • Create solution architectures, detailed design documents, and functional specifications • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions • Manage APIs, APIM, and Azure Key Vault for secure integrations and secrets management • Manage Active Directory, RBAC, and authentication/authorisation mechanisms • Design and implement identity and access management solutions, including SSO, SCIM, and SAML • Support build, test, security, reliability, and performance activities • Review technical designs for security, resilience, reusability, and operational compliance • Collaborate with architects, delivery squads, BAU teams, principal engineers, and project managers • Implement automation to streamline existing processes • Document architectures, design models, and reusable patterns • Provide technical leadership and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards • Support platform reliability, resilience, and operational excellence Requirements • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering • Strong expertise in Azure cloud platforms • Experience with Azure DevOps practices • Knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM) • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) • Familiarity with Azure Key Vault and CI/CD pipelines • Proficiency in YAML and JSON scripting • Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO), SCIM, and SAML • Experience with Source Code Management (SCM) Preferred Experience • Experience in the Investment, Wealth, or Superannuation domain
