About the Role We are looking for a Level 2/3 Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established Perth-based government agency operating in a highly secure, business-critical environment. The agency manages significant public funds and financial transactions, making cyber security, data protection, infrastructure reliability and operational continuity critical to its day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 environments • Configure and administer Microsoft Intune & Entra ID • Provide support for Windows Server, Active Directory & Desktop Support • Implement and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls & Network Security • Provide end-user support & troubleshooting • Work with cloud infrastructure, endpoint security & automation Requirements • Strong Microsoft fundamentals • Security awareness • Willingness to learn • Experience with troubleshooting Azure issues • Experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls • Experience with desktop support • Great attitude and problem-solving skills Benefits • Hybrid working – work from home part of the week • Initial 6-month contract with a genuine pathway to permanent employment • Exceptional mentorship and career development • Security-focused environment with modern technologies • Plenty of technical variety across cloud, infrastructure, desktop and end-user support
