About the Role We are looking for a Cloud Middleware Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing and developing AWS-based API and middleware integrations. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop AWS-based API and middleware integrations • Build and maintain Apache Camel integration solutions • Develop batch integrations and high-volume data exchange processes • Implement error handling, retries, monitoring, and logging • Troubleshoot TLS, certificates, authentication, and production issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration architecture • Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks • Provide technical guidance and mentorship Requirements • Experience with AWS API Gateway & cloud-native integration • Knowledge of Apache Camel or similar middleware frameworks • Familiarity with AWS Lambda, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP & flat-file integrations • Experience with batch processing, data pipelines & event-driven architecture • Skills in PostgreSQL & hybrid enterprise integrations • Proficiency in CI/CD, Git & deployment automation • Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization & lifecycle management • Experience with production support, troubleshooting & performance tuning Preferred • Public-sector or regulated industry experience
