About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform/DevOps team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, APIs, services, and cloud-native solutions • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools • Develop reusable frameworks, internal platforms, libraries, and developer productivity tools • Drive cloud modernization and automation initiatives across engineering teams • Work with AWS and/or Azure to design and deploy highly available, scalable solutions • Implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes • Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies • Contribute to architectural decisions involving scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and maintainability • Develop APIs, distributed services, and enterprise-scale platform capabilities • Automate SDLC/PDLC processes and identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and platform/DevOps teams • Mentor engineers and promote software engineering and DevOps best practices • Evaluate emerging technologies including AI-assisted development, workflow automation, and modern developer experience tools Requirements • 8+ years of software engineering/development experience • Strong hands-on programming experience in Java, .NET/C#, Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript • Strong experience building APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and scalable applications • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools • Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation • Experience with automation, deployment pipelines, cloud-native development, and platform engineering • Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, resiliency, security, and performance • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
