Cloud Security Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer 3 – Cloud Security (Python/AWS) Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103 Duration: 12 months contract (with possible extension)   Role Overview: You will be part of a Cloud Security Engineering team, building platforms that help secure cloud environments and process large-scale data. Key Responsibilities: Develop backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask) Work with AWS cloud services (S3, RDS, ECS, etc.) Build and maintain data pipelines and processing systems Integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) and handle large datasets Use AI coding tools (Copilot, LLMs) to enhance development Write clean, scalable, and production-ready code Work in Agile teams and participate in code reviews Required Skills: 4+ years of software development experience Strong Python programming skills Experience with AWS cloud services Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of APIs and system design Nice to Have: FastAPI experience Exposure to cloud security concepts Experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.)
