About the Role Jupiter AI Labs is seeking a Core Task Engineer with extensive experience in backend development, data engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The ideal candidate will work on production systems, resolve incidents, and develop reliable, well-tested code. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and debug production-grade Python applications • Work on backend systems, data engineering pipelines, or site reliability tasks • Investigate and resolve production incidents and troubleshoot complex technical issues • Write comprehensive unit tests and maintain high code quality • Work with Docker, advanced Linux environments, and production infrastructure • Analyze technical problems and contribute to reliable, scalable software solutions Requirements • 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or SRE • Strong production-level Python programming skills • Proficiency in at least one additional programming language: Go, Rust, TypeScript, or C++ • Hands-on experience with Docker and pytest • Advanced Linux troubleshooting and system-level debugging skills • Proven experience handling production incidents and writing automated tests • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
