About the Role We are seeking a Senior Cribl Engineer with Cyber Security expertise to join our team in Irvine, CA. This is a 6+ month contract role focused on developing and maintaining data processing pipelines within Cribl LogStream. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and maintain data processing pipelines within Cribl LogStream • Configure and optimize data routing, transformation, enrichment, filtering, and normalization processes • Develop and support integrations between Cribl, AWS, SIEM platforms, and security analytics tools • Build, troubleshoot, and optimize automated data ingestion and onboarding workflows • Onboard and validate security telemetry for SIEM, detection engineering, threat hunting, and incident response • Collaborate with Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams • Monitor pipeline performance, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements • Document pipeline configurations, operational procedures, and data flows • Develop and maintain Snowflake database objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures Requirements • 8+ years of experience with Cribl LogStream administration, configuration, and pipeline development • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and data engineering in large-scale environments • Experience designing and supporting large-scale security data ingestion and processing pipelines • Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for pipeline automation • Experience onboarding and managing enterprise security data within SIEM and security analytics environments • Familiarity with OCSF, security data normalization, governance, and compliance • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical thinking • Experience designing and managing Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and data pipelines • Experience with Snowflake Cortex, Snowpack, Python UDFs, and advanced automation frameworks
