About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to lead enterprise firewall and network security initiatives, strengthen cybersecurity defenses, and protect critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise Palo Alto Networks firewalls • Manage firewall policies, rule reviews, configuration changes, and security architecture • Support IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, SIEM, EDR, DLP, and other enterprise security technologies • Identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities, threats, and security risks • Support cloud security initiatives across AWS and Microsoft Azure • Participate in incident response, threat hunting, root cause analysis, and forensic investigations • Develop security automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash • Ensure compliance with NIST, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards • Provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentorship to junior security professionals Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 11+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, specializing in network and firewall security • Extensive hands-on experience managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls in large enterprise environments • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, WAN/LAN, and network security architecture • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and security frameworks • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
