About the Role We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to establish a scalable, governed data foundation for enterprise financial reporting and analytics. The candidate will partner with FP&A, accounting, business leadership, and technology teams to define requirements, design financial data models, architect a Snowflake data warehouse, and establish enterprise integration and governance standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead discovery workshops and document financial reporting requirements • Define business measures, reporting dimensions, canonical data models, and source-to-target mappings • Architect Snowflake data warehouse layers and integration patterns • Establish governance, ownership, lineage, data quality, and security standards • Use SQL and Python to validate source data, mappings, transformations, and financial reconciliations • Define feed contracts, refresh schedules, exception handling, and operational controls • Present architecture options and trade-offs to business and technology leaders • Guide engineering teams through design reviews, testing, acceptance, and production readiness • Develop a prioritized implementation backlog and phased delivery roadmap Requirements • Strong financial data architecture experience • Hands-on Snowflake expertise • Advanced SQL and Python skills • Ability to work directly with FP&A and accounting stakeholders • Pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is preferred, especially where finance data intersects with manufacturing, inventory, supply chain, and logistics
