About the Role We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the modernization of our data platform. This role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, building deployment pipelines, and overseeing data platform migration from legacy systems to modern technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and build modular, multi-environment AWS infrastructure using Terraform • Build and maintain secure deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions • Design monitoring, auditing, and alerting mechanisms across the pipeline and infrastructure • Lead the technical approach for migrating legacy processes to dbt-core and Snowflake • Maintain clear architecture diagrams, design decisions, and technical documentation • Review code and pull requests, participate in daily meetings and sprint ceremonies Requirements • 5+ years of experience in a senior data or software architecture role • 5+ years of experience with legacy ETL/ELT platforms such as Informatica PowerCenter or IICS • Strong hands-on experience with dbt-core and Snowflake • Experience with building components for medallion architecture • Proficiency in Python, with experience building or supporting web applications • Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code for cloud infrastructure • Experience with CI/CD platforms and modern DevOps practices
