About the Role We are seeking a Data Platform Production Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing production support for data platforms, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity. Key Responsibilities • Troubleshoot production data pipelines, ETL/ELT failures, and dashboard/data issues • Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and SLA-driven resolution • Monitor production systems, triage incidents, and manage escalation processes • Analyze data flows and understand upstream/downstream dependencies • Automate support processes using scripting and CI/CD tools Requirements • 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Operations, or Production Support • Strong SQL skills for data investigation, validation, and troubleshooting • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse • Experience with production monitoring, incident triage, and escalation processes • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Preferred Skills • Experience with Fivetran, dbt Cloud, Sigma Computing, or Atlan • ServiceNow and automated incident creation • Splunk or other monitoring/observability tools • Python or scripting for support automation • Git/GitHub and CI/CD • Data quality monitoring, alerting, and cloud data platforms
