Data Scientist

We’re still hiring at AirAsia — Contract Roles (Malaysia-based) We’re looking for talented professionals to join our AirAsia Data team in Malaysia on a contract basis for the following roles: Senior Data Scientist (Operations Research) — Contract Design and build optimization models using Operations Research techniques to support airline operations, maintenance, and scheduling. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, data-driven solutions in a production environment. Nice to have: Experience with OR (e.g. CP-SAT, Gurobi, CPLEX, etc.) Experience deploying solutions in a cloud environment Data Engineer — Contract Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with data pipelines and workflow orchestration Familiarity with messaging and stream processing systems Nice to have: Experience building or operating data platforms in the cloud - Location: Malaysia - Employment Type: Contract For international candidates: Applicants who already hold a valid Malaysian EP visa are welcome to apply.
