About the Role We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to support the State of Michigan's Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) and its Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) modernization initiative. Key Responsibilities • Support the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) modernization • Manage Azure Database Services • Develop and maintain SQL data models • Implement ETL processes • Perform database performance tuning • Assist with cloud migration efforts Requirements • 12+ years of experience in database administration • Extensive experience with SQL Data Modeling and Database Structure • 8–10 years of experience with T-SQL • 5 years of experience with PowerShell • 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps • 5 years of experience with Scrum • Strong Microsoft SQL Server database administration experience • Experience with database performance tuning, data warehousing, and cloud migration • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be located within 90–100 miles of Lansing, Michigan • Must be available to work onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays Submission Requirements • Resume limited to 4–5 pages • Valid Right to Represent • Hybrid schedule acknowledgment • 2–3 professional references
