About the Role We are seeking a Senior DB2 DBA / Precisely Connect CDC Engineer to join our team. This role requires strong hands-on experience with IBM Db2 for z/OS database administration in enterprise production environments and expertise with Precisely Connect CDC. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers • Collaborate with product team on technical requirements • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Db2 for z/OS database administration in enterprise production environments • Hands-on experience with Precisely Connect CDC, formerly SQData • Strong understanding of CDC architecture, including change capture, publishers, transaction storage, replication/distribution, and apply processing • Experience configuring and supporting Db2 for z/OS as a CDC source • Ability to start, stop, monitor, and troubleshoot CDC components • Troubleshoot replication latency, missing transactions, capture failures, publisher failures, connectivity issues, and apply/target failures • Manage CDC configurations when Db2 tables are added, modified, reorganized, or removed • Strong understanding of Db2 logging, transaction processing, commit, and rollback behavior • Diagnose data synchronization, replication recovery, and data consistency issues • Identify whether issues originate from source Db2, CDC capture, publisher/transport, or target/apply processing • Collaborate with Mainframe DBA, application, and platform engineering teams • Understand CDC restart and recovery processes Requirements • Resume must be 3–4 pages only • Active LinkedIn profile with strong connections; profile should not have been recently changed • Candidate must join a video call and show their driver's license for verification • Candidates with GC or H4 EAD must provide passport number or a passport copy, as requested
